He lacks the mental strength in and out of the ring. He will never be that good.

 

He was getting good results but he didn't look all that good. He was missing by several feet, and his mobility/flexibility looked labored and stiff. Bute bailed himself out with a sweet shot. He was getting outboxed by Edison Miranda, FCS. A crusty Miranda at that. Sensational finish though. Good for the sport.

 

Not really. He's pretty slow and has **** reflexs and cant get out of the way of a punch to save his life.

Bute looked a bit tight and nervous at first, but he calmed down and went to work in the third. I noticed the same thing in the Bika fight, looked tight and gunshy.

That could cause problems when Bute faces a top tier guy.

Been what he's always been, a hard punching gatekeeper. He was never great.

 

Sad truth is that he ain't beating anyone near the top, and he's also been getting punished recently. Might be time to give it up.

 

Miranda looked better than in past fights against good competition. He just got cocky and Bute caught him.
