We all know why they don't like him and want him to fail.

Actually, I don't know. Can the Haymon Haters explain why they hate him so much?

Me, I always thought he was more of an Easter Bunny than Santa Claus figure.

Wtf? I dislike Haymon (a lot) but he is at least showcasing FAR superior fighters than FNF ever did. Bringing name fighters back to regular tv will do more for boxing than PPV fights. You have to constantly groom a young fanbase to grow. Look at the NFL, they're a cash juggernaut for a reason.

so.... what? Because Haymon is trying to make money, people should despise him? I don't get that line of thinking. EVERYONE is trying to make money in the sport, nobody is just doing things for the love of boxing.

Haymon isn't charitable, neither is bob arum, neither is oscar, neither is anybody in the sport. Haymon is doing good things, but he's doing them to make money.

Of course he doesn't.Just plain supposition and conjecture. From what I have gathered he has a group of investors, most likely from his music and entertainment contacts who have built up a war chest of a couple of hundred million.Sponsership has been awful at best and his tv ratings are ordinary to low. What his end game is -is anyone guess but it appears to be a PBC Boxing channel probably mixed in with an entertainment program featuring music icons. He wants an HBO or Showtime format-if his money lasts that long.

I know that those other guys are not charitable. It's just that a certain type of fan thinks Haymon IS doing stuff just to improve boxing. They are blindly following him because they are typically fans of his fighters. I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason all these fighters praise him after fights is because it was written into their contract that they lose 10% of their money if they don't name drop him.

I could care less why he's doing it, I am getting boxing matches headlined by young up-and-coming ranked fighters on standard cable. What are you mad about? If anything, these type of TV deals like PBC will help boxing continue to thrive after Mayweather-Pacquiao.

I think he's too stupid/blinded with mayweather/haymon Hate to realize that when people speak well about what haymon is doing its usually in reponew to many speaking negatively about him and the pbc....I don't think anyone thinks of haymon as a saint out to save the sport .......but too many speak negatively about him and he gets defended and this guy misinterprets it as praise

Actually, Leonard Ellerbe did. And 30 percent is typical for the manager's share.

He is if you have a d*ck and a pair of boll*cks hidden under your skirt. He's known to be very generous with his money to those types.
