When will people realize Wlad was not in his prime when he lost 3 times?

Wlad had the false trainer in his corner until 2004.

Wlad learned how to be a better fighter with Emanuel Steward since 2004-2012. He learned what is important.

 

Wlad was prime for his two losses to Brewster and Sanders, but even though he had quite a record prior to Purrity, his LOC was ****. His best win prior to his Purrity loss was Steve Pannell, a fat CW who had been blown out each time he fought about the D level. :yep Shaheed was a can crushing prospect until Wlad checked his chin, and semi promising prospects Cody Koch and Mark McIntire were also exposed by Wlad and essentially ended as a result.
Yeah, before Purrity, Wlad was essentially a can crusher. But he was certianly crushing them at a rate any recycling center would be proud of.

 

The question is why are you arguing with furniture?
These people's opinions aren't worth anything in the grand scheme of things.

I believe the idea of prime (when a fighter is at their peak) is sometimes mistakenly judged purely on age and experience. That's understandable given practically all fighters have a prime somewhere between 25-32 years old, and beginning somewhere around their 20th-30th fights. However, in some cases it should be recognised that these criteria don't always tell the whole story. Wladimir is a good example. He was reasonably experienced when he took those losses (certainly by the Brewster fight he'd already had a number of fights at a decent level) and clearly he wasn't too young or too old to be outside of his prime in a strict physical sense, but quite obviously he wasn't the best version of Wladimir Klitschko when he stepped into the ring to fight Sanders and Brewster. Time has shown that.

It's dishonest for a boxing fan to claim Wlad was prime when he lost those fights, unless prime is only meant to mean physical prime. In which case Tyson was still in his prime when he lost to Holyfield, and few boxing fans would actually argue for that being the case

It was a learning experience for him. And he understood what he had to do to become a top top fighter.

Its more of a credit to him what he has achieved when you consider the manner in which he lost in his earlier career. He knew what he needed to do and did it.

Physical prime... most definetly, styalistic prime... not at all.

After the 3 losses he sustained the blue print to beat Wlad is... take punishment but last through it and you will get the advantage when he gasses out (corrie sanders was the exception)

Now... There is no blue print, The fighters that beat Wlad wouldn't be able to accomplish it had the fights happened in today's world (RIP Corrie).

Even Historically the only fighters that i would consider better in H2H vs Wlad are Lennox and Vitaly (you need size). I would give a fair chance to Tyson, Bowe, Forman....and a minor chance to Holyfield and Ali... and a punchers chance to any other heavyweight.

 

Sdunek was the conditioning coach in this fight.

After this fight Sdunek was fired and Wlad worked with Steward alone. Since than he improves as a fighter.

Last fight with Sdunek in his corner last loss. Fact.

Sdunek was the reason for Wlad´s losses. Sdunek never teaches fighter a good defence, none of Sdunek fighters had a good defence (Vitali is a special fighter which has nothing to do with Sdunek.).

Watch Dimitrenko vs. Chambers, Dimitrenko does not know how to protect himself like Wlad in his fight against Sanders and Puritty.

With Emanuel Steward in his corner Wlad learned how to react when hit, better footwork, better movement, he improves as a fighter.

 

I like Wladimir but this has to be a joke.
