After KTFO1 Bermane was dropped to 15th place in the WBC rankings. To this day WBC has reinstalled/elevated Ortiz, Povetkin, Parker, T Fury, H Fury and Kownacki (I think) to top-14, yet Bermane is still at 15th, ready to answer a certain phone call from Alabama.
I'll be surprised if he ever fights again. He'll be 40 in a few months and has only fought twice in about 3 years. He doesn't really have any options other than being used to pad a prospects resume as he looked completely shot vs Wilder.
After he's finished shooting the new star wars movie he's starring in - about the early times of Jabba the Hut. Cruel but fair.
I don't see him realistically ever fighting again. He's fat and washed up, and old. And he's the old that the body is old, not an Amir Mansour, old but still physical specimen over. Mr. Stiverne is now in "Bolivian"
There's lots of fighters we yearn to see, Like the reincarnation of Muhammad Ali, Or Joshua v Wilder, yeah that would be great, Yo Eddie and Shirley please give us a date, But more than any other, The real fans all yearn, For the return of the legend, That is Bermane Stiverne, He's the bee's knees, the greatest, He's really all that, He don't need to train, He won't lose the fat, The physique of a binman, He's so ill prepared, At the presser it's clear, That's he's bordering on scared, But he shows up on fight night, And that's the main thing, If your man needs a gimme, Just contact Don King, And the best one of all, That we're dying to see, Is Wilder Stiverne, The dream trilogy, And the best one of all, That we're dying to see, Is Wilder Stiverne, The dream trilogy, And the best one of all, That we're dying to see, Is Wilder Stiverne, The dream trilogy,
I can't see him fighting again. He looked like he wanted to be anywhere else when the wilder fight happened.
