Shame Solis isn't in shape as he has/had huge potential.

The Klitschkos are definitely the proven best fighters in the division but they'll never become greats.

As they won't fight each other it's unlikely either will become undisputed champion and that seems to be a requirement for a dominating fighter.

He's got a lot to prove at heavyweight but my money is on David Haye.

These russian guy's can fight but they are just not marketable.
There hard trainer's and scared of nothing, but they dont get the credit as they dont fit into the mtv generation's idea of what a top heavyweight should be.

Guy's like wladimir klitchko with his good look's and phd haven't got the danger factor, that sports fans find so appealing. You see fan's want there fighter's to be brutal gladiators, not some well mannered fella who plays chess.

Hopefully David Haye though....I'm just worried about his head...his chin seems fine, he just seems to turn to jelly when hit around the top of the head/temple area. I'm sure it bothers a huge amount of fighters due to it being dehabilitating, but Haye seems to go all over the shop.

Still, he held his hands higher in his sole venture at HW (against the relatively safe Tomaz Bonin) so I assume he'll tighten his defence against more dangerous HW's.

Honestly, if he can get past Monte Barrett (a fight he would be derided for losing) than I'd say he'll have the confidence to beat the best. I think even he's worried about this fight as if it goes all wrong, what's the point? As a matter of fact I think he said pretty much exactly that!

The heavyweight division has allways been pretty much as it is now!

Yep thats right. Except the golden 70ies, there always only has been a handful of top fighters or even only one dominating (Tyson, Holmes, now Wlad Klitschko) and than a gap.

Look at the 80ies. Holmes and Tyson era....but an awful HW-division. Guys like Bonecrasher Smith, Coetzee and Pinklon Thomas HW-champs.
Look at the 90ies: It needed a Cruiserweight like Holy, a blown up Light Heavy Moorer and grandpa Foreman to revive the division after Tyson sent to prison. Guys like Moorer and Botha HW-champs. Entertaining decade, but skillwise?

You must've never heard of Lennox Lewis.

Or Riddick Bowe for that matter.

David Tua. ike Ibeauchi. Two more entertaining fighters.
