When will the Williams hype end?

I think its pretty ridiculous.

Like, what has he done to make him this dominant beast no one wants to fight(Or maybe these fighters see what I see and see this guy isn't that serious to CONSIDER).

Verno Phillips, 39 years old and well over his prime.
Winky Wright, hasn't fought in 2 years before the fight...very well over his prime.

I give him the wins over Margarito and Quintana, two c-b level fighters...and one of those c level fighters kicked William's ass for 12 rounds; heres proof

Quintana is a quality fighter no doubt...but if he could dominate 12 rounds EASILY against Williams....what do you possibly see when he goes against Pac, Cotto, Mosley or Mayweather? These men are ELITE.

Quintana isn't an elite fight either. Williams is sloppy, soft, and slap happy....his range is unreal, but can easily be negated by a skillful and relentless boxer. Quintana is a great counter boxer, who's countering and technical skills along with his relentless attack dominate the fight from round 1 to round 12.

6 of his 27 KO's are just straight up KO's..the rest are technical from his high rate of throwing punches. He landed a lot of punches on Winky Wright, but you could see those punches lack power and pop.

I see Williams losing to Palvik. Williams throws a lot of punches and takes a lot of shots as well. He has a great chin but the punches of Pavlik a true middle weight are going to be much heavier than anything Williams has taken so far. Wlliams is a great fighter but I think he has gone a weight too far.

After the Palvik loss, Williams will go back to WW and get tossed around by another Quintana.

William nuthuggers, get mad...but you can't deny the unnecessary hype.
Williams is a good boxer, but he's definitely not UNSTOPPABLE.

Maybe in a year or two, but right now Williams is not READY for elite welterweights.

 

Williams got exposed in that fight.
Why are you making excuses for him?
Physically Williams was the superior fighter.
But Williams got countered left and right.
I give Williams props for a good chin.
I see why Williams has a lot of fans, he throws at a high rate and receives at a high rate with a good chin, his fights are definitely entertaining.
But the man isn't a THREAT. Thats my point. He's not ready to step into the ring with elite welterweights because he will get out boxed easily and guys like Mosley and Cotto have more KO power...or even Manny Pac.
