Where does your leeway stand on this?

How many catchweight fights can he do?

I say, if his fight after Khan is not GGG, then he will be

That shipped has sailed. I considered Canelo ducking GGG a long time ago...

Of course on paper he hasn't ducked him yet.
But if he doesn't fight him right after that chinny welter, then it's as big a duck as when Bowe dropped his WBC belt in the trashcan so he wouldn't have to face Lennox.

Very comparable. Lennox was his mandatory, but Bowe wanted a much bigger cut and all kinds of perks which he couldn't demand.
Difference here is, Golovkin also has a couple belts of his own already.

I'm with you, we need to wait until after khan. Anything these two say prior to may 7 is irrelevant.

according to ggg fanboys "you cant duck a guy in another division"

so until ggg wants to meet the caneloweight champion at caneloweight...its not a duck to me

How is it a duck when all Bumlovkin has to do is agree to Alvarez' terms?

 O$CAR & Canelo have been ducking GGG for quite some time, paying "step aside" money and making promises they had no intention to keep.

:D Officially it will be May 22 nd if they refuse the Mandatory.

    ;)

If his next 4 or 5 fights are at 154, it's not a duck, rather pretty common tactical avoidance. Otherwise, it's got to be next.

Depends on what he does really, just won the title one whole fight ago, and is taking probably the second biggest money fight available for him that's a no brainer.
Gennady's recent talk sounds good but if he steps aside again that's his fault.

True. If GGG wasn't mandatory nobody could complain if he took a few fights first.
But say Canelo gets the Pacquiao fight, the step aside wedge would be huge, and hard for GGG to turn down.
