There is some drama again in the HW division. It might not be the most skilled it's ever been but its entertaining.

You got a guy that can't really box but has maybe the best right hand ever.

You got a fat guy that can box but doesn't look like he should be able to.

You got a guy who looks the part but seems to more look the part than be the part.

You got a tall bald guy who can box, move and talk but is a goof and a bit of a head case.

It all adds up to some interesting fights and some drama. Good for the sport.

His one-punch power with that right hand is silly. It's just absurd. When throws it straight down the pipe, it's really quick and explosive too.

You're going to get criticized but screw these haters you are absolutely right! Wilder seems to be content with just stalking around the ring letting you get off your shots while he plays just enough defense to stay out of any real danger. Meanwhile hes waiting for that opening which is going to come at some point and if he catches you its over. Also if you do hurt him you cant rush in and try to finish him because if he clips you its over. You could see Ortiz was very cautious the couple times he caught DW not to get too crazy and just jump on him.
I really dont see anyone beating him outside of Fury if he can repeat that first performance but he nearly got knocked out twice in that fight. II think he was lucky DW came in so light and maybe didn't have enough pop like he does at 220lbs. This DW will knock Fury out if he catches him.

He doesn't have boxing skills compared to the other historical world champions.

Wilder tries to win rounds, he just wasn't going to do it against a really good boxer with as heavy a hands like Ortiz.

He has learned to use his height and reach better, I give him credit for that. He has become disciplined.

But make no mistake: He goes back in straight lines like a complete beginner, any prime HW with reach and some power will be able to exploit that. Wilder is walking a tightrope and its just a matter of time he falls down. There is no genius in his ridiculous game plan.

Wilder is trying. But he can't win rounds because he is so inept. He routinely gets outboxed by Boxrec #50 fighters and old men close to retirement.

All he does is look to la d the right.

The thing is he's only been in with guys that allow him to do that.

Ortiz was never going to trouble wilder, wilder was just waiting to pounce.

Fury doesnt have the power to hurt him hence he just waited for the shot.

You think AJ, ruiz, whyte etc are going to tip tap about letting the rounds go by.

As soon as he fights anyone who can punch and pressure him he's done.

What is Wilder looking to do? Fight 50 year old men? Fury has a iron will?? Fury has no will and a glass chin.

Johann Duhaupus was never down against Wilder. Maybe you didn't realize that. A broken down Chris Arreola was never actually knocked out by him. In the first Wilder vs Bermaine Stiverne fight Bermaine walked through everything Wilder dished out. Mind you Bermaine was already past his prime then. It took Wilder more than one shot to stop D- Eric Molina. It took 9 rounds of punch after punch to stop a bum. Chris Arreola stopped Molina in 1 round. I guess you forgot. Glass chin Artur Szpilka took numerous flush right hands and mugged them off. He was only stopped because he jumped into a punch. I guess you forgot about that. It took Wilder 4 rounds to knock out the 17 and 20 Harold Sconiers. Wilder was also knocked down. Bermaine Stiverne knocked out Sconier in 1 round.. I guess you forgot about that. Should I continue?

Wilder knocked out glass chin lard butt Dominic Breazeale who was walking right toward him. Deontay Wilder was losing on the card and 50 year old Luis Ortiz was walking right into the punch.
