When will you people realize, Wilder doesn't try to win rounds?

That is why he is sooo fascinating to me. Dude is pure athleticism, reflexes and power. His boxing style is ...well not sure it is a style...Unconventional and his over the top off balance windmills make me laugh but dude is a ONE HIT POWER KILLER and not at all a pure boxer. His footwork is cringeworthy but his self belief is inspiring fo real.

in almost any other era, he would already have been stopped. a quick and aggressive puncher with some power will give him all types of hell. wilder cant fight up close, gets beat when he trades, and doesnt take punches very well. its when he is given the time and space to zero in that he becomes lethal. stay on his chest with good head movement and trade with him, and you can stop him. you must keep the pressure on though, do not give him the set up because his speed will beat you.

I think Ruiz beats AJ in the rematch and I’d love to see a Ruiz v Wilder match, I think Ruiz will ask questions of Wilder that no current fighter has been able to do, he will not be allowed to fight as he did against Ortiz.

    False.

Wilder does not willingly loose rounds on purpose......he studies his opponents and makes them look comfortable so they get brave......Ortiz thought he had it in the bag, smiling, talking bring it on until he ate a monster temple shot........after Fury threw about 3 punches a round while raising his arms and sticking his tongue out he decided this is easy and opened up a little in the second half of the fight he got put on his azz twice hard and almost did not make the count.

This kind of power from your opponents puts a tremendous stress on you because it tires you out thinking about it thru 12.......

BTW, Fury was in the best shape of his life , mentally and physically ...you aint getting up in the 12th from a Monster shot if you are out of shape...end of.

Also, it is a foregone conclusion that Wilder will decapitate AJ and ends his career due to brain damage...and I am not joking, the Bodybuilders punch resistance is that bad.

He isn’t a great “boxer” but he’s a damn good fighter. He could potentially get out boxed at some point and lose a fight, but whoever it is better be ready to have an out of body experience to do it. When the man hits people the aren’t the same after. You want to talk about footwork, pivots, feints, etc...whatever. The man wins fights in devastating fashion, period.

Yeah got to agree with that. He seems perfectly happy to wait for his opportunity even if it takes some rounds. He knows he's not a particularly skilled boxer so plays to his strength. Don't know about anyone else but even though he lost most of the rounds I was still expecting the boom & couldn't help but chuckle when it landed.
