The Klitschko brothers dominated the HW division for many years because they were giant heavyweight boxers. BTW, Lenox Lewis was also a big heavyweight boxer who could beat Vatali Klitschko.
Wlad vs Pulev Wlad vs Thompson Wlad vs Wach Wlad vs Williamson Wlad vs Moli Wlad vs McCline Wlad vs Jefferson Wlad vs Wolfgramm
Wlad has PTSD from boxing, a sick wife and a baby. Time to hang it up. He is going through a mid -life crisis right in front of the world.
It is interesting that Wlad lost to the first big guy he faced who could actually move a bit and didn't just stand there in front of him like a lot of the small, plodding HW's did. With Wilder and Joshua coming through as big HW's who can move a bit, you get the feeling that this trend may continue; HW's getting bigger, but some having ability and a bit of athleticism and aren't just big, lumbering statues. If this does happen then you wonder if this would effect Wlad's legacy in the future. Would he be seen as an ATG or would he more be seen as one of the pioneers of the "super HWs", but one who, on a head-to-head basis, would come up short?
You must have forgot, McCline could move well and actually spent most of the fight boxing at range like Fury...difference is Wlad was in his 20s than, and could chase a mobile big man around all night.
All the **** talkers are out in force now that an old Wlad came in with the wrong gameplan for the first time in over a decade.
McCline was the same height and had the same reach as Wlad. He was flat footed and his conditioning was awful. He used gas out after 5-6 rounds. Even earlier later in his career. He had none of the multi dimensional , switch hitting awkwardness of Fury. He stood in front of Wlad. Wlad wasn't chasing anybody. He was still tentative like he was against Fury. One fight later , Wlad got steam rolled by a southpaw counter punching off the back foot. That fighter had more in common with Fury than McCline.
Yup wlad just couldn't beat fury, all the people saying wlad got old are all the people who backs wlad to win by ko You underestimated fury and he just mayve an atg fighter look bad
Good thing Wlad never fought Pulev. Like you said, he was too big to be clinched and would dominate at range with movement and that rapid jab.
He owes them 10 years. Remember, he said Wlad would never fight Fury..he promised us it would not happen. So Wlad getting in the ring on Saturday is a still another bad prediction from duckvelvet.
