When you hear the word COWARD, whose name comes first to your mind?

So ya'll don't think talkin **** to someone, sayin you'll fight him and beat him easily, and ruinin his reputation, all the while bein too scared to step in the ring isn't cowardly?

How the **** is that not cowardly?

The only choices on the poll are pacquiao, who nobody is going to call a coward, and mayweather, who, given the choice, everybody will.

 

apparently it is evened out by the mere fact that he puts on gloves and steps in a ring. no one with the incredible courage needed to confront a man for money in a controled environment could possibly be a coward. the bravery needed by these super special men can not even be comprehended by mere mortals such as ourselves. questioning their courage just shows that you dont have the balls to step in a ring and are just jealous of their larger than life spirit.

If someoned talked **** to me in the schoolyard and had a reputation for beatin people's asses, but I didn't show fear and said I was ready and was out there waiting, and he was hiding behind a teacher...is he not a coward?

But I will tell you this, if you talk **** about someone, ruin their reputation, say you're gonna beat their ass, and then hide....if that's not cowardly, then you don't know English.

 

I agree and would say any poster who call professional fighters cowards.

 

I didn't realize that people were immune from bein cowards...

If you do cowardly actions like spread false rumors, talk **** publically about someone that hasn't said **** to you, and say you're gonna beat someone's ass, but then run away and hide and make up excuses.....that's cowardly.

Either be a man and appologize or do your ****in job in this case, and fight.

settle down killer, i was being sarcastic and thought i made it clear in my post with the word "apparently".
i agree with you. cowardice and courage are all relative to the individual interpreting the word. if you have never done or seen anything courageous, then being a boxer is way up there in the bravery department and you cant fathom how cowardice can exist in such individuals. if you know or have seen true courage then you can see that putting on gloves and fighting with the option to stop any time you want is not otherworldly and can very well lead to success for a weak heart if he takes the right path. you think people like audy murphy or rosa parks are impressed by the risks these guys take? ****, they got real courage.
