I got sucked into the Hatton v PBF hype...

I think we were all pissing in the wind for that fight...:yep It took me longer to check in at the airport going out than the fight lasted v Pac Man...You thought I would have learned...atsch

after the mayweather fight me and my mate got kicked off the plane. we had to wait til next day and pay 650 just to get home.

 

I thought he had a chance against mayweather due to the way mayweather fights , it wasnt to be , he lost every round , but wasnt totally taken apart , just bettered by a great champion.

Manny on the other hand after seeing what he did to Oscar , i have bets on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounds , and knew it would be a short night .

I love hatton but wouldnt put money on him winning in his comeback fight, too many hard fights and doesnt look after himself outside the ring, Khan would stop him early.

 

After the fight I just wanted to go to the Airport and fly home. McCarren is like a zoo on a Sunday...it was a shite trip home, but not half as bad as yours...:yep

 

I picked Mayweather to TKO Hatton in the 10th round

The only shame is that I didnt put money on it of odds of up to 20/1

I just felt a Mayweather late stoppage was the likeist outcome !!!

 

I told my mates who aren't really into boxing an indepth analysis on Pac/Hatton and how Hatton would stop Pac late on.

And the same happened with Cotto/Pac :-(

I can see one possibly coming up if the fight happens - Paulie-Khan. I'm gonna be quite loud in my prediction that Paulie will win if any threads appear, and have done already a bit.

 

Fell into the hatton-mayweather trap like most, and almost made the same mistake against pac until i seen the weigh in. Pac looked so strong and healthy at the weigh in and much bigger than ricky, after all the talk in the build up of hatton being the bigger, stronger man.

Changed my pick but thought it would be more a prolonged beating than one punch decapitation

 

**** me mate. u no why, we was abit merry. not loud not abusive nothing like that. some jobsworth said u been drinking and ur not allowed to drink and go on a plane and said my mate cudnt board. i said there's a bar just there (with that funny lil italian bloke). he goes nuts and called police to escort us off airport. we had no money. next day we go there and see matey. we kiss his arse big time in the hope he lets us get the next flight home. he says no so had to get my sis b/f to pay our tickets to get home. i still cant even laugh about it

hatton looked skin and bones at the weigh in

 

i dont think hatton ever looked particularly good at most weigh-ins, but pac was definitely the worst.

after seeing the bruising on hatton's face in the lead up to the fight it looked like he'd been taking a bit of a pounding in sparring (think it was lara by all accounts) and i started to fear for him then. But the weigh in was the icing on the cake. I'm as patriotic as they come but i couldn't see him living with pac after that
