do you keep training or do you take time off from the gym and let your body recover? I got back in the gym 2 weeks ago and have been seeing great progress but couple days ago I got sick. coughing, runny nose, and I get the chills really bad. I have to sleep with my clothes on and I dont eve sweat. I'd hate to take time off from the gym right now so I'm think I'm just gonna work thru it. I've been taking a shitload of vitamins and eating like I did before.

Personally I'd rest, because workouts are **** anyway when I'm sick.

When you´re sick , you´re sick. You should stay home, it´s best for you and it´s best for the others in the gym, nobody want´s to get sick and miss training. All the best

stay home. going for a workout and getting everyone else sick is very selfish. take a few days off to rest and your body will appreciate it.

sorry if the last thing i said came off as harsh, didnt mean to. but honestly if you just let your body work itself out and get things back on track you'll be happy you did. even when i try to work out at home when im sick im miserable and stay sick for longer. your immune system took a big hit and your body needs the rest to build itself back up. if you want something to do, focus on stretch routines and things like that.
