the truth was that it is a trace substance in ripped fuel & he would have had to ingest a vast quantity to get the results he did.

there is a massive difference between recreational drug use (particularly post retirement) & being caught using performance enhancing drugs in a post fight drug test.

 

if he was using coke or amphetemines for fights he would have been caught. he'd have to take them right before the fight for them to have any effect & they wouldn't have time to cycle out of his system before the drug test post fight.

 

Coke, which what sir Joe is alleged to have taken after he retired is a recreation drug.
