He won the fight easily. Listen, our man Bernard got dropped twice by Segundo Mercado, 99% of the greats got dropped, it means nothing.

Honeyboy was one of the most feather fisted boxers at that time.

this guys really thinks a 98-01 version of Hopkins beats a '94 version of Jones. :smooch

Somehow I doubt Jones is having anywhere near the kind of trouble Pac had with a Marquez level fighter.

I'd give that title to Sugar Ray Robinson, but Jones was pretty close.

100%. Hopkins above RJJ head to head ATG. Has Roy head to head in Rounds over their 2 fights. You won't see Hopkins getting knocked out on 3 different continents any time soon.

Jones was without a doubt one of the most gifted fighters ever, speed, power, agility he had practically everything and we won't see a fighter as good as him for many years.

I would find it hard to pick against him at middleweight and super middleweight, he was as close to being unbeatable as any fighter at those weights. Though he wasn't perfect as proven in the the first Griffin fight where Griffin used tactics similar to those that Tarver would use in his first fight with Jones. Patient counter punchers who controlled the centre of the ring and pin him on the ropes seemed to give him trouble.

    Today Bhop greater than RJJ
    Tomorrow Bhop greater than RJJ
100 years from now Bhop greater than RJJ

All without fighting Florists and getting knocked out in Australia and Siberia.
    Bhop did it his way.
