I understand the hate against Jr, I really do. Most of you haters think he is just beating paper journeymen and being overprotected along with riding his father's famous name to glories he don't deserve. Agreed to a extend. The thing is remember guys he have no amateur career and is only 25-26. For a kid that young to have beaten guys like Rubio Zbik and Mafredo is decent. Lennox LewisATG. I mean ok Rubio zbik and Mafredo are not elite fighters we get that. But Chavez jr is still a very very young fighter, now if he was still avoiding dangerous opponents at age 30, then ya let the hate ride truely begin .But at this stage of his career it's fine for him to take it slow. Like it or not he is the future.

Rubio and Manfredo are decent but dont forget hes been caught out using drugs to drop weight, he was 180 in the ring vs Rubio. Now notice his last 2 fights including the upcoming bout with Lee is held in Texas ( the state that allowed Margarito to continue fighting )

Its one thing to have no amateur experience but calling yourself a champion when you needed a gift to beat a guy who got stopped by Sturm for a paper belt then refusing to fight the real champion and cheating to have a weight advantage of 20 pounds over your opponent is another
