It's almost a year since Mayorga was knocked out by Mosley. I can't wait for him to fight again. Love him or hate him he has an exciting style. I know he pulled out of a fight with Angulo because of an injury but he definitely could have beat him. Hopefully Don King gets him a fight soon with one of the up and coming 154 prospects.:bbb
I'm sure the rumour was that he pulled out of the Angulo fight due to finding out King had lowballed him and it was then disguised as an injury.

Mayo needs to hang em up if he doesn't need the money, dude at pt was a good fighter but he is nothing more than a punching bag for theelites now.
i have to admit he ALWAYS is a stiff "challenge" (baring the DLH fight). he's a decent fight and test for anyone, just can't win for ****
I think he's days are just about counted. He never stays busy,gains a lot of weight,ain't serious about training and he ain't young anymore. Big mistake to not stay busy after Mosley.
There HAD been some rumors of a potential clash between Santos and Mayorga but that feels like it was LIGHT YEARS ago.
