Yeah the last round against Tito was what came to mind as well and he didnt even lose it. but that's the closest I can recall.

I dont think Rashad's gonna be the guy to break that TBH.

Yeah Rashads to passive he wouldnt be able to get his hands on Machida. I seen this fight being much like the Ortiz-Machida fight just without the KD and the near Triangle. Rashad only looks to counter to me hes not a good striker he was getting whooped on by Forrest and Chuck was outstriking him until he got the counter on Chuck and caught that kick on Forrest and secured a takedown. This should be one of the worst UFC title fights ever IMO like a Arlovski-Sylvia III or Pulver-Hallman.

One judge thought Greco won their fight in 2004.

That was ages ago, some can argue that BJ won that fight as well

Machida is elusive as hell.....he might be on his way to legend if he beats Rashad handily....but that's a big if....

What can Rashad do though ? Rashads not active enough I doubt hes the kinda guy who can close the distance on Machida and even if he could what can he do besides look to counter with a big shot ? Machidas the ultimate counter puncher and techniqual fighter. If Rashad is in range im not expecting him to take down Machida you seen how Tito who outwrestled Rashad in their fight had his hands on Machida, but Machida is so elusive and makes him look foolish and even threw him down violently and trapped the arm in side control he probablly would have stopped him in that 1st round had time not expired. Machidas not a guy I wanna clinch with neither you see them nasty trips he was caught Thiago Silva with ? Throw in his GNP and execellent BJJ skills you got the makings of a damn near unbeatable fighter. IMO the guy who matches up best with Machida would be Forrest Griffin.

^ I can't argue, so far Machida has been the enigma and know one has figured him out. It'll be a very interesting fight...

Maybe he is like Marvin Hagler?
You gotta make him lead the fight?

ive said it in another post somewhere but leg kicks are the key..
kick and chop the f**kers legs till he cant lift them, therefore shutting down his elusiveness.. once thats done you can go to war in the standup and outwork him or maybe even finish him with leg kicks....
easier said than done of course but theres the gameplan..
