Ever exercised in two countries with different climates?

Last summer I went to the Philippines for the first time, the air was noticeably hotter and thicker, but it didn't really click until I tried to jog over there. I could only do 1/3 of my routine before feeling winded and really light-headed, not to mention the heavy smog..

Reminds me of altitude training, could this be what Manny attributes his stamina to? Living there and training in the US?

climate and altitude has an effect on how your body reacts to training.. it takes time to get used to.. i love hot weather and can run a lot better in hot weather.. when i moved to germany it was hard on me to breath when i ran because of the cold.. now im used to it a little better and when i go back home to PR i have to get used to the hot again.. so yes it all has an effect that's why boxers try to aclimate themselves to the place they be fighting

Well the temperate climate in the western US is typically hot but dry, and consequentially more oxygen available..?
