Certainly he's moved up at least a tad with that for now. In the future perhaps even more so if Price was able to at least grab a title. But for the momment where those the Thompson wins rank for Waldo?
They were decent wins even before Thompson upset Price. I honestly think Price will bounce back and those wins will look ever better.
somewhere in the top 10 byrd byrd haye chagaev iggy peter chambers brewster 9th it seems. it's a better win than brock, rahman or mercer anyways.
Chef should come on and tell us what Wlad thought about last night, if he was as surprised as the bookies.
Wlad called it a 50/50 fight beforehand. I've always felt The Tiger has been criminally underrated. He even managed to take the first round off Waldo in the last fight before getting broken down.
Thompson beat a guy who can't take a punch. That's all. Wlad's win over TT ranks in his top 5 best wins, but not because TT KO'd price. It's because Wlad twice KO'd a guy his own size, once when TT 'claimed' he wasn't at his best, and then even quicker when TT 'was' at his best. I pick Fury and Helenius both to defeat TT.
Wlad's first win over Thompson in 2008 is about #6. His second win over Tony in 2012 is about #12. Wladimir's best 5 wins are Byrd (2000), Ibragimov, Chagaev, Haye and Peter (2005).
