In Hearns post fight interview with IFL TV Hearn talks openly about all his other lightweights in his stable about potentially matching them against each other , Mitchell Crolla Cardle Campbell and Coyle all mentioned aswell as venues early in the new year , Hull Leeds Sheffield etc etc , Not a single mention of Burns nor Glasgow or Scotland for that matter , Any thoughts on what Hearns plans may be for Burns or is Burns time at matchroom coming to its end !!!!

Looks like Eddies done with his time in Scotland if you ask me Billy unless Ricky has a massive regain in form and confidence

Really really like Ricky & its hard to see how things have declined for him over the last 18 months. Seems like ever since he left FW his performances have declined. And to make matters worse he now has the court case to deal with. Very sad situation.

Lets hope Ricky wins the court case and returns to form at lightweight #SaySuhin

Burns vs winner of Coyle+Campbell anyone think this could happen ?

Obviously we are talking a year from now but i think it would be a good fight.

Depends what ricky turns up in his next outing , as it stands now he seems to be generating no interest and looks to be miles down the pecking order in matchroom plans

Depending on their performance in the Hull showdown and how Burns gets on between now and then that would make a cracking fight.

Botttom line is at the moment Burns isn't a headliner and as such, what do people expect Eddie to do? Either Burns has to pull the finger out and start getting himself in to a position to make big fights happen to bring a show back up to Scotland, or we'll need to wait patiently for the likes of Simmons, Brophy, even Taylor and Ham to kick on and become stars themselves. Either way, can't see a show up in Scotland anytime soon unfortunately.

The Campbell Coyle fight is looking like May/June so be this time next year before Ricky could fight the winner , Doubt ricky wants to nor can afford to wait that Long ,

Ideally id like to see Ricky vs Crolla to see if Ricky still has it at that kinda level , would also be a good tester for crolla to see if he is really fringe world level

Will be interesting to see what happens.

If Crolla fails in his world title bid, I can see that match up happening.

He trains with both Campbell and Mitchell + holds a convincing win over Mitchell, so can't see either happening there.

Coyle is being lined up for Campbell next summer, doubt Hearn would want to risk that fight as it'll be a big seller. Also Ricky apparently more than handled Coyle in sparring, I know Coyle isn't one to shy away from a fight, but not sure he'd fancy it.

Given the chance Tommy would fight Ricky if a title were on offer tommy is a fighting man but there is or was a huge gulf between the two lads
