Why is there no hype about this great fight?

Pavlik is a great fighter but he has never faced anyone as good as Hopkins. Hopkins is so cunning, such a great tactician and ring general. His timing is supreme. His movements all perfectly calculated. All his punches are purposeful. Sure he is going to get tired after a couple of rounds, but with Pavlik coming forward as he does, Hopkins is going to do well, whether he has enough energy to win or not. Pavlik will be really tested in this fight, you better believe it! Don't count old man Hopkins out just yet fellers!

Nodoby want's to look foolish by making any bold comment's about it.
Margarito Vs. Cotto changed the prediction game...lol

I for one look forward to this fight, and tho I'm a big Pavlik fan.
On paper..I find this fight a long and very hard grueling style for Kelly.

I take Hopkins down the stretch by a very easy UD.
(And if he don't, And Kelly win's then bring on Abraham's scary ass)

    Nothing personal, this is fighting.

im picking old man BHOP to win s/d or close u/d
this was a very very tough fight for pavlik
it is interest why arum chose it, even if pavlik does win he will get not engough credit for beating a world class fighter like hopkins because he a old old man now
i pick pavlik over joe c but style wise BHOP over pavlik

I'll go first. Bhop wins by KO.

In short he takes away Pavs jab and drops him early with his sneak right to the head. Inside 5.

    I am Sober.
    Honest

Since Hopkins started fighting like John Ruiz I have no interest in his fights. Anyone that buys this fight on PPV is a fool. There is not a more boring fighter out there right now than Bernard Ruiz.

i'm looking forward to this fight....A close one to call IMO, although if Hopkins can take away KP's jab it will be interesting to see how KP adapts (if at all).

Im excited about this fight as I think this really could go anyway. Even though Hopkins is 43, everyone knows what a crafty ******* he is and he will make anyone look bad.
However I think Pavlik is to relentless and will be to much for this B Hop who fights about 60 seconds a round. I think a late stopage might be worth a punt.

Same was asked 2 weeks before Cotto vs Margarito then 1 week before it was here the threads started to kick in. We have Vitali/Peter and Dawson/Tarver next week, expect all the discussions to be on those two fights, when they're over Hops/Pavlik takes over. :yep

It's not really a snoozer, with Hopkins you don't know what to expect, it's not really fun to watch the fight more than once but watching it the first time is always good based on Hopkins' unpredictable actions. Against Tarver we saw a knockdown all of a sudden, against Calzaghe a knockdown..etc, the man brings some drama even if his fights aren't exciting enough.
