The Garcia fight was competitive, mutherfawkers now days think that a loss automatically equals exposed. I'd really like to see a rematch.
Garcia got lucky as hell with that accidental eye rake with the glove that turned Lucas half blind almost instantly Vitali-Lewis level lucky I bet he'll duck the rematch too
Disappeared as quickly as they came out of the woodwork... Casuals at their finest. Matthysse was supposedly the scariest man in boxing. It goes to show how shitty this era is from a fans' POV and shows why there are so many one sided cupcake fights. One loss nowadays devastates a career. They probably did just convert to Golovkin. Bute to Khan to Matthysse to Golovkin. edit: It's funny, some of the people who questioned Matthysse's over-hype on these forums are the ones who at this point in time pay him more respect than the guys who went "all in" claiming Matthysse was unbeatable and the second coming of Marvin Hagler.
You need to actually fight in order to have fans. When he schedules to get back in the ring with someone, we'll all start cheering for him again.
i'm still here. but he hasn't even got a fight set up so what is there to be talking about? oh, and he still beat Garcia.
Lucas would bury Garcia in a rematch. Let's hope it happens on a neutral site with an unbiased ref this time.
really, right now... two months after his last fight, and with no news of Lucas's next fight even on the horizon, what exactly are they supposed to be talking about right now? Weird time to make a thread like this, or for others to go along with it as if theres an actual point being made.
I gotta raise my hand here I tbought Matthysse was going to slaughter Garcia and as a fan I thought Garcia basically white washed Matthysse, a lot of the hype is gone because he doesn't have anything coming up he's still probably the 2nd best fighter at JWW and when they announce his next fight I'm interested to see how he looks. Much props to Garcia though he got my praise from his performance and should have top 10 P4P consideration
He doesnt know **** and yet you think Garcia stops Lucas within six.... lol.. ya ok. Garcia can stop Lucas, but it happening within 18 minutes isnt likely. Its funny when people call out the boxing knowledge of someone who knows more than them, then goes on to make an absurd call like that lol.
