Most people (Except for Fitzgeralds) realise that he's pretty average, thus there is no point jumping on his bandwagon.

i've watched that fight, and i didn't see any improvements in valero. Still the same way of fighting, he totally sucks. Theres this punch that he did some kind of long slow jab to the body where he had his knees a bit bent and he look so open to a counter shot while doing that.

I know, his defence is non-existent. Can you imagine a great counterpuncher like Marquez fighting him? He'd be brutalized.

He's still way too raw in my opinion and needs some skill building.

TKO or KO, no one reallycares. I amjust wonderng where are all those valero fanatics. I saw the fight and he seemed to regress instead of improving. It has probably something to do with his constant diet of omto cans that he never improved. His defense was atrocious and his technique is much worse.

What do you think would be a good opponent for him at the moment?

I'd like to see him against Alex Arthur. Good opportunity to for either fighter to prove that they are C+/B- standard before stepping up to another champion.

Also, I think either Arthur or Valero beat Baloyi (spelling?) so there's an opportunity for the winner there too!

Agree though, against top level Valero is beaten.
