I propose we make an inventory of all who have defamed Vitali thus and have them tarred and feathered in a public venue, to their great shame and humiliation. Heat up the pitch!

 

People tend to overrate Vitali now. Again, the division is at its weakeset ever. Very poor. Arreola was unproven. I predicted the outcome. Kevin Johnson is also unproven, he has no shot at winning either.

It is time James Toney puts together a couple of impressive wins and that Haye really enters into the heavyweight picture. Haye will have no problem outpointing Valuev. Toney and Haye are the only challenges left even though Toney has to prove something before fighting Vitali.

 

There was an uncanny coincidence in how completely unhittable VK and PBF looked in their respective fights. Both against warrior Mexicans who never stopped trying but who only caught air with their punches.

 

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone made this ill conceived comparison. I don't know how long people have to watch boxing before they finally realise "A>B & B>C therefore A>C" crap does not work. Arreola prepared to fight someone much inferior to Vitali and his performance in the ring was based on the style of the opponent in front of him. If Chris had left himself as open as he did against Walker then Vitali would have probably KOed him.

 

Okay, let's be "real" here.

How many boxers his size in the world today have better/faster/more effective footwork than Vitali? Only Wlad has better footwork and Chambers perhaps. So, if there are only two people in the whole world better than him, by definition his footwork is world class.

As for Foreman at 45 being faster... i suggest you watch some tapes, because he could only plod forward one way, and a lot slower than Vitali does, who can actually use angles and move sideways, something Foreman never did at any stage of his career.
