I have a question for the British boxing fans: what's up with the heavyweights Sprott, Harrison and Williams?

Sprott hasn't fought since July 2007, and he isn't scheduled.

Harrison has been inactive for over a year now - since February of 2007 - and he's not scheduled.

Williams hasn't fought this year, and isn't scheduled to fight in the coming months.

    Have these heavyweights retired?

It said somewhere that Audley is on the Calzaghe-Hopkins card in a couple of weeks.

The less said about Sprott the better. He let himself down in the 2nd Skelton fight and stunk the place out with his negative attitude.

Audley has had personal issues but sould be back.

Danny looked good against platov before the germans did the usual and fixed the fight so the german promoted platov would not have a loss on his record. There was talk of a 2nd platov fight but I think platov does not want it as DW exposed *****s in his armour. DW has got to get boxing again and stop pretending he is the legend killer with prime Tyson type KO power. In the Platov fight he was looking for 1 KO punch and got caught a few times himself.

You forgot to mention the king of the Brit HW scene - Matt Skelton. Not sure what he is upto but he made Shageav look crap.

Sprott will no doubt do a few more fights in Europe back in his journeyman role if he decides to keep on fighting.

Audley is making a comeback after his car accident on the Calzaghe undercard.

Danny Williams is at Burger King.

Since Warren ceased subjecting us to the whole heavyweight merry go round nonsense that consistantly regurgitated some of the worst fights staged in this country ever these guys have rightly been cast into the wilderness.

I never want to see any of them fight ever again. Except Audley who can be quite funny sometimes. I wonder what he thinks about David Haye's foray into his division?

Yep he just puts on tonnes of weight when he is getting ready for a fight. Like how he got addicted to eating protein drinks in the run up to a recent fight.

His walking around weight is 10 stone 4.

The Platov-Williams bout was comical especially from Platov's corner who were only equipped with a white towel. That was a naughty cut though couldnt see it continuing after that
