    I see. So Sergio should come down in weight to fight the Ginger but the Ginger shouldn't go down in weight to fight the P4P #1 fighter in the world? Is that your argument?

    Exactly. Alvarez walks in the ring @ 170+, Floyd 150-151. On fight night, it would be a jr middle vs a light heavy.

    Guys need to start fighting in their weight class.

    If I were Mayweather, I'd make Alvarez come down to welter or agree to a same day weigh in. Giving up a 20+ pound weight advantage is insane...

    Ok, so why then does he need to fight Sergio @ 154?

    Martinez would struggle to make 154.

    If the fight should ever happen it would be at 160, and that wont happen any time soon I believe.

    Exactly.

    GBP are too busy trying to get a 150lb fight night welterweight to move up for Alvarez's next fight - with Alvarez being a guy who walks in the ring @ 170+ pounds.

    Alvarez = J O K E

    Thats true, but I wouldnt call Canelo a joke, he gets my respect for fighting and beating Trout. I dont blame him for wanting a Floyd fight either, I just dont think its a good idea for him to go to 160 and get his azz beat by Sergio just when he is entering his stride

    He just beat Trout who he was avoiding according to you tools for an incredible 3 weeks between the Cotto win (when you learnt of Trout's existence) and Canelo choosing him. It was probably the shortest duck of all-times, but I guess it's time for round 2: Canelo and his fans are ducking MW champion Sexy Sergio! :lol:

    He's said many times that he wants to fight Martinez so make it happen. I'd love to see that fight.

    More excuses...Mayweather is WBA Super champ at 154, claims he's the best in that division also. Canelo fights at 154.

    Chavez Jr outweighed Martinez by almost 20lb. Margarito outweighed Pacquiao on fight night by almost 20lb.

    Canelo wouldn't come in at 172 against Mayweather, would make him too slow - more likely at 168-170. Mayweather would come in at 152/153

    Stop making excuses - you're all praising how Mayweather fought Cotto at his best weight and yet he can't fight Canelo?

    Floyd should come out and just admit Canelo is too big for me, I can't fight at 154. Then I'd buy it - until then he's ducking. Don't proclaim yourself the best and then duck specific opponents...total bulls**t!
