Where are the idiots who said Dawson would beat Froch?

    I still think Dawson could beat Froch.
    It's funny how people hype the **** of Froch just because he beat Lucian Bute. Bute ffs.
    The fight before that Froch lost a shutout to Ward, Wards punches troubled Froch and if it wasn't for Wards broken hand which forced him to ease up as the fight went on I could easily have seen Ward stopping Froch in the same fashion in the later rounds.
    When has Froch ever dominated a world class opponent like Dawson has to Adamek, Hopkins and Tarver?
    Froch.... Chinny, shot Taylor almost beat him, Dirrell should've got the decision, old worn out Kessler beat him, no confidence Abraham lost a points decision, shutout by Ward, knocks out definition of a hype job Bute and all of a sudden Froch is an atg? **** outta here, I respect Frochs attitude and determination but let's not act like he's the equivalent of Ward. Froch could never do to Dawson what Ward did, he doesn't have the accuracy or the speed to land consecutive punches on Dawson. If Froch hurt Dawson then Dawson could recover easily, as he did against Johnson.

    No i'm not, im being honest here.

    Let's take a look at Froch's two defeats

    Mikkel Kessler - Aggresive fighter with good power and pretty fast too, likes to come forward and pressure his opponent. He handle pressure very well.
    Andre Ward - Very quick, arguably P4P top 3-5, beat Froch on the inside. He has shown he can handle pressure and adapt in a fight.

    Chad Dawson

    Jean Pascal - Was pressuring and whopping Dawson, until he ran out of gas. Poor stamina is the only reason, that Pascal did not finish the fight stronger.
    Andre Ward - Quick, strong and a inside fighter. He is no way close to being a KO artist, yet managed to knock Dawson down three times. Was aggressive and put smart pressure on Dawson.

    The common thing with Froch's defeat, it's that they can take pressure very well and both guys were aggressive. Dawson has shown us, he can't handle pressure he kinda reminded me of Bute in the Froch fight, he was boxing with Ward, but than as soon as he got hurt, he had absolutely no counter strategy, almost like Bute in the Froch fight, when Bute got hurt for the first time it was all over for him. Dawson has great defensive skills, but what does it matter, when Froch will just walk though and take his best punches, then it comes down to what you have inside of you, Dawson is no animal when he gets under pressure he kinda mentally disappear. I remember Bhop said before their first fight, that you fighting Dawson in the ring, but mentally you're fighting Steward. And that's spot on. Dawson has no mental strength, and trust me if there is someone who will test your mental strength it will be Froch. Also Froch has stopped all his southpaw opponents, the only advantage i see that Dawson has over Froch is speed, but Bute was also way faster than Froch, but it did not matter.
    In my eyes to beat Froch you have to have a bit of everything, must of all mental strength and the ability to take punches and pressure. Unfortunately Dawson has none of these two things and his offensive is highly overrated. :bbb
    I might be a huge Froch fan, but i will admit that if someone is better than him or could beat him, but style wise Froch would give Dawson all kinds of hell, he will not gas out like Pascal and he will not get stunned or rocked by Chad, that's for sure.

    What's up Prince? I've been telling anyone who would listen that froch vs ward will be MUCH closer than last nights fight. When will people stop overrating Chad and underrating Carl?

    Chad has only beaten older men who are like 10+ years away from their prime. Lost to his only two live opponents. I gave Dawson the second round, rest we already know. I recall vs Ward i had it like 117-111 or 116-112 to Ward, and Froch did not get KD and actually finished on pretty strong.

    You know mate if Froch was an american, we all know it would be a totatlly different story brah! But what's up with Lucian how is he doing, any footages of his training and so on? I gave Bute alot of props for fighting Grachev, who is underrated :deal

    If Froch was American he'd be getting less attention. He's average as ****. I don't remember Froch stopping Dirrell.. I remember Froch slapping the back of Dirrell's head and trying to wrestle him because he couldn't land anything. I remember Dirrell hurting Froch in the 10th round and Froch getting a gift decision after landing less than 5 punches in the entire fight. Dirrell- southpaw, some say mentally weak, some say chinny... but no Froch would paste Dawson easily right :roll:

    At 168 Froch beats him but at 175 It's a different story.

    Froch definitely put up a helluva fight vs Ward. Ward is just damned good but Dawson was absolutely creamed last night and anyone who honestly believes Dawson would clear Froch at 168 is out they damned minds. Froch would be like Holyfield if he was American, we know this :yep

    Bute is good! Feel free to bump the Bute Battleship whenever you get a yearnin' for updates. :smoke Getting ready for the Grachev fight....then is eager for the Froch rematch. I know you'll be watching :hat

    Dawson will beat Froch if they ever fight. Who has the better Jab? Who has the better foot work? Who is the better counter puncher? Dawson probably beats Froch worse than Ward did. Styles make fights and Dawson will have the important advantages. Froch is versatile and tough but Dawson doesn't walk around with his shaky chin in the air like Bute.

    Ward was putting the same beating on Froch that he was on Chad before he broke his hand. And Froch unlike wasnt weight drained.

    So mo I still believe Chad beats Froch especially if the fights at 175.
