Where are the idiots who said Dawson would beat Froch?

Froch would beat the **** out of Dawson at 168 or 175. Chad cannot handle pressure at all, he struggled with Johnson and was beaten by Pascal. Froch would put it on him and Chad would fold. Froch by late TKO.

Are you suggesting that because Dirrell and Dawson fight out the same stance and share certain perceived weaknesses that it's a like-for-like fight?

For the record,Dawson clearly can't cope with 168,whilst Froch has done nothing at 175,so it's certainly not a given that Froch would win easily.It's never happening at 168 and Froch is very comfortable for now at 168 so let's wait and see if Carl goes up and how Chad does back at LHW before rushing to judgement.

 

What Dawson said about the weight affecting him before and after, and the challenge at 168, is irrelevant. It is how we each view the affect it puts on the resume/legacy perspective of the victory.

At 175, I'd confidently pick Dawson over Froch.

Chad gets hit too damn much when he falls into his defensive lulls....it's like he just spaces out and is there for someone to fire off first.

Yeah, Chad looks good when he's firing off combinations, but getting him to actually do that and then focus on defense? I just don't think he's got it in him to do for a full 36 minutes. Look beyond what Ward did to him- Johnson showed that. Pascal showed that. Even Adamek did when he caught Chad late in a fight Chad was coasting in.

Bottom line is, you can't fight in spells against Froch and win. You've got to fight every minute of the fight against Carl to beat him. I strongly believe Froch knocks out the current Dawson.

also because someone else brought it up Carl Froch SD12 Andre Dirrell, you can argue all you want but every part of this result is official. No one has ever knocked out Abraham. Kessler was a debatable result. I had Ward just short of a shut out. Some of the same people saying Bute was a hypejob (granted he was) are the people would were sucking his ass dry saying he was the world greatest.

Froch is no hypejob.

 

I am one of them as well and didn't think the weight would affect Dawson like it did...or at least I was hoping it wouldn't.

Unfortunately for Chad the damage has already have been done. He may never be the same again, even at light heavy.

 

Dawson is just one in a long line of American hype jobs.
