Where are Winky Wright and Mikkel Kessler???

It's understood that Pavlik is staying at 160 to unify and defend.....but even if Taylor is beaten by Pavlik again he's moving to 168 regardless...So somehow Jermain looses all credibility at 168 if he's beaten by Pavlik again??
Even if Taylor gets KOd again he would still make a worthy opponent for anyone at 168....I would love to see Taylor-Kessler

 

If Kessler cant get a decent deal, he should try Germany or Britain. He's got a English parent and has a market in Europe. I'd sign him up.

 

Kessler needs to fight Lucian Bute just to prove he's the next SMW king. But maybe he's worried coz Bute's so similar to Calzaghe.

 

Bute is pretty similar, but not as good. Kessler gave Calzaghe a bloody good going over, and it took some of the best boxing of Joe's career to get the win.

Kessler would KO Lacy - I think Joe could have done at any time, but wanted to impose maximum punishment, and send a message to those who expected it to be a cakewalk for 'Left Hook'.

 

I think your underestimating your hero mate....I think Joe gave 7/10ths.... thats all and still beat Kessler

 

we basically all know the story with winky but kessler is having injury problems and is trying to get the right fight and deal to get himself back on track. Kessler will be back better than ever i dont think the calzaghe fight done to much damage to his confidence.

The the people telling Kessler to leave denmark/palle ... Palle just helped make the biggest fight in SMW and the best paying fight. Why risk 2-3 years in court wasting away his best years? - Palle has made the big fights and Team Palle is already talking about Kessler fighting in the US - so take it easy people - he is coming back - all he needs now is a good opponent, who dares fight him - not many of those around.

 

Winky is probably one of the most defesively sound boxers out there right now which makes him extremely boring to watch. He won't fight anyone from Florida (RJJ or Tarver) because he considers them friends. He doesn't want to fight people who don't matter (DLH or Kessler). :huh

With those stipulations, I can't see the big name or big pay day fight he wants his future. Good luck Winky finding someone fight.
