It has nothing to do with fantasy.

It has to do with measuring accomplishments, recent and career, across divisions using our own personal opinion on who is more accomplished/more proven/more skilled or however else you measure the greatness of a fighter.

You are confusing P4P with H2H. They are completely different.

Once again, this is professional boxing.

This is not Fantasy Bar Fighting.

You said it, it's an opinion, that's all it is.

I am not confusing p4p with h2h; it's just a different set of criteria.

You are correct there. It is totally opinion of the beholder.

But your criteria for P4P is your same criteria for H2H.

    That just seems... very odd.

Disagree with Floyd being top 3. He's certainly up in the top 20. Hard to rank them but I still think in terms of accomplishments and importance Floyd ranks behind Sugar ray robinson, Henry armstrong, Pep, Ali, Joe Louis, Duran. Old school fight fans would most certainly have people like Benny Leonard and Greb ahead of him.
I mean in terms of how the games changed and the fact he's fighting in a completely different era its a hell of a testament to be considered in the top 20-15 fighters ever.

There was a thread a while back that posed the question, what's more important for a fighter, to be respected by his peers or by fans. I said a long time ago it's more important to be respected by your peers, as WE fans have no idea what it takes to be as accomplished as a fighter, in this case Mayweather. it's one thing to try to diminish Mayweather's accomplishments, its a whole other subject when you try to diminish the opinions of the great fighters and trainers who speak of him with high esteem.

I agree to a certain point.

I'd still like historians ATG lists compared to some fighters (e.g. - James Toney). They are just more knowledgeable overall about the subject matter.

One things for sure, Floyd doesn't come close to BHOP in terms of legacy.
