I'm looking to buy some boxing foam sticks to train my reflexes and get rid of that panicking problem i've developed since being away from boxing.

Anyone know where i can buy a pair of legit good ones? preferbly online.

heres an example ( although they seem a bit slower and usual).

Dude. It's a pool noodle cut in half.

And good luck using those to suppress a panic reflex...if you have someone to swing wussy noodles at you then you have someone to throw punches at you. That's how you get rid of panic, not by pussifying boxing so it's less dangerous. Great for reflexes but panic is the first priority and that will only make it worse.

Who would ever think that this is a good idea?

Yup, looks like a regular old pool noodle.

And I agree, practicing defense by sparring works best for me. Although, I do see some limited value in this, especially if you are just starting out. Or if your trainer has physical limitations that would prevent them from having being a suitable sparing partner (i.e. age, size etc...).

    Lol at these reactions.
I know sparring for real is the best option but i won't be able to do that for a good month atm and i thought i could at least work on reflexes for the moment.

Panic is brought on, by not knowing what to do next.

Use a double-end bag. The noodles will make it seem more serious (because it is) when you get back to sparring.
