Excellent display from Lee. Very mature and controlled.

Seventh round a bit slower paced but Lee still dominates with single lefts and occasional solid lefts to the body. Gibbs keeps marching forward and launching the occasional dangerous right, but mostly misses. Lee 10-9, 70-63 after seven.

So was the loss to Vera, just an off night? Judging by this performance, me thinks so.

Seems like he might have been overconfident and underprepared for that fight now.

Gibbs getting more frustrated. Can't drag Lee into a brawl and just keeps getting countered.

I'm guessing it was a case of looking well past the opponent in front of you. Hopefully he learned his lesson this time..and it won't happen again, because he has some good skills.

Competitive 8th rd. Gibbs finally lands something with substance. Two lead rights and a sweeping left hook. Lee felt those but remains poised. Still Lee slightly outworks Gibbs and edges the round with his lefts to the head and occasional right hooks. 10-9 Lee, 80-72 Lee.

His management looks brilliant now, matching him up against a tough opponent after that disappointing loss.

Gibbs is landing some good right hands but its just not enough. Lee is handling him with relative ease.

Lee dominating again though Gibbs still winging with vigor. Lee's punching power making the questinable-chinned Gibbs look like the second coming of George Chuvalo. Lee dominant but not the powerhouse he's been billed as. 10-9 ninth round for Lee, 90-81 Lee.
