No. Usyk is very clear number 1.

You sit hairs between Crawford and Inoue.

After that it's a bit of a free for all, but the winner of Bivol/Beterbiev is very clear number 4.

I like Loma but if you count amateur records the atg list would include very few Americans and no Mexicans. This is the pros, Rigo was way too small, linares was already going down hill and GRJ was never going to be great. His resume is respected but people need to stop over rating him. There are active boxers with a better resume. Canelo and Inuoe are at the top and theres guys like Beterviev, Bivol, Crawford, and usyk. Won’t even mention Tank and Teofimo who are in his weight class or around it and have good or better wins than him. Great fighter, really rooted for him but the Haney fight showed me he doesn’t have what it takes to be an ATG at the pros.

 

I don't think there's any doubt at all that p4p, Usyk has well and truly eclipsed Loma as a pro. Skill wise, I still like Loma but all the intangibles, winning in opponents backyards, changing momentum in fights, heart and courage, Usyk has it all. The likes of which hardly ever seen before, if at all!

 

Loma is clearly an ATG, it's just where you rank him, amongst the ATG'S. Winning a title in his third fight as a pro, 3 titles at 3 weights after around 10 fights, that's definitely ATG status.

 

Even skill wise I put Usyk above Loma tbh

 

How could he out school Haney like Tank did when Tank hasn't even fought Haney? Are you referring to the sparring footage of a 16-year-old Haney against a mid-20s Tank as being representative of a real fight where Haney had a full camp and had improved significantly since then?

And Teo didn't beat him. That fight was a draw at best and Loma could barely use his right arm but still schooled Teo for half the fight. Teo won the 1st, 2nd was a swing, 3, 4, and 5 were Teo, 6th was Loma, 7th was Teo, 8th was clearly Loma, as was 9th, 10th, and Loma dominated the 11th enough that 10-8 wouldn't be unreasonable either, and outlanded Teo in the 12th as well as backing him up and landing the better punches. That's 6-5-1 Loma if we count the 2nd as even and even if we do give it to Teo it'd be draw were it not for the fact Loma battered Teo in the 11th enough to justify a 10-8 (which is completely legal within the scoring criteria) in which case it would still be 114-113 Loma. And Loma was able to do this all with a busted up right shoulder which he had emergency surgery on immediately after the fight. Yet this fight is held up as being the most clear example of Loma losing and being overrated despite the fact he has proven that he was injured (and Teo and his camp knew this because they had to sign off on allowing him his meds for sparring in camp) and still has a solid argument for winning this fight, or at the very least drawing.

If he isn't any good then how come he has won more than 400 fights across his whole career? Was every single one of the decorated amateurs and pros he thoroughly dismantled a bum? Were all of the boxing experts and pundits who proclaimed him as the best fighter on the planet and who waxed lyrical about his exemplary skillset all blind to the fact that he "is not that good"? Or maybe you just don't like the guy and I do, and that's fine but if you don't like Loma, say so rather than having to use sparring footage of teens as evidence of the fact that Loma, in a real fight against a grown man, performed worse than Tank did against a child in a spar.

 

I could justify anyone over Crawford.
If Loma beats Tank, he definitely jumps to the top 5. Stevenson hasn't done jack to be worth bragging about.
