Here's a thought. Why don't you just Google "Mills Lane"? You would see he had a bad stroke in 2002. Oh, and he does not have dementia. What a bunch of morons.
Not really. Have you ever known anyone to have a stroke? You don't always recover so well. It can ruin you for life...you can have right or left side paralysis,..difficulty speaking or swallowing, walking....he's probably living with assistance somewhere with more important things to concern himself with than refereeing boxing matches.
Lane suffered a debilitating stroke in March 2002, which left him partially paralyzed, and virtually unable to speak.[9] With his blessing, this led to his Celebrity Deathmatch alter-ego being voiced by Chris Edgerly (who played Nick Diamond) for the remainder of the series' run. His adopted city of Reno proclaimed December 27, 2004 as Mills Lane Day.[citation needed] In May 2006, Lane made his first public appearance in years at the dedication of a new courthouse which is named after him.[10] In 2012, he was elected to the International Boxing Hall of Fame.[10]
There are ridiculous questions and posts often, How would Larry Holmes do against Fighting Harada, etc, but this isn't one of them. Asking for information on Mills and how he is doing has been on my mind also, a respected referee that vanished from the scene. You have to choose a worthwhile fight, this isnt it.
