    Someone high-up at the WBO should have to release a statement of no less than a hundred words explaining how Karpency deserved a world title shot, else the WBO be dissolved.

    Since his loss almost two years ago in a bid for a lesser WBO title (intercontinental), Karpency has beaten two guys with losing records that aren't even close to .500

    That gets him a world title shot? :blood

    whats sadder than that is no one really gives a ****.

    i understand everyone wants better drug testing, but we at least have some drug testing in place...we have NO one looking over these governing bodies who dont even follow their on rules

    i heard steve bunce doing an interview on the phone with him and was wondering who he was, then they mentioned cleverly ...the guy like most fighters seems really nice...but Bunce was talking to him about everything except what the hell he has done to get a shot and even if he was surprised.... amazing

    I like Nathan but he should not fight this level of opposition this far in his career. There are plenty of other good fighters at 175: Gutknecht, Shumenov, Cloud, Campillo, Chilemba, Erdei, and all of those fights are in Cleverly's reach. I am not expecting him to go fight the top top dogs like BHOP or Dawson but I at least expect him to fight top 20 type of opposition at this point, it's quite disappointing, I am still excited for the fight though.

    i just find it hard to believe Team Cleverly couldn't find a guy of that caliber somewhere in Europe, but had to go all the way to Adah, Pennsylvania USA to fly a guy in who hasnt fought in a year , whose last 3 wins came against opponents with a combined 41 LOSSES.

    He did it for Hatton and JC for the primes of their careers.

    When he actually fights at world level he will be shocked and stopped.
