Where did Rocky Marciano get his amazing power from? He wasn't ripped or huge like Anthony Joshua

Marciano punched really hard for his size why was he able to punch so hard despite being much smaller the big heavyweights like AJ?

Punching is as much timing as power. You rarely see a savage puncher like
Liston, Shavers, & Marciano having a big muscled body like AJ. If anything the muscle mass is a disadvantage . Look at Jimmy Thunder, body like a Greek God, couldnt punch hard to save his life

I always judge a fighter's power on how shredded and yoked they are.

    Hasn't failed me yet.

Except said Jimmy Thunder" Could not punch hard to save his life" stopped DDDD level Crawford Grimsley in 14 seconds or so......something the "hardest puncher in history" old Jorge Foreman could not do in 10.........against said DDDD level.

BTW, Marciano was a little attrition puncher who hit balding grandpas out of the soup kitchen with 10000 fights under their belt over and over again until they finally fell while getting knocked down in the process.

I dont understand your constant obsession about a fighters muscularity in correlation with punching power. It has nothing to do with the other.

You nailed it. If Anthony Joshua was hitting fighters like Walcott, Charles, Cockell, and Moore, boxing would be outlawed because he'd kill or severely injure them. There are levels of competition, a 50s heavyweight could not compete today.

Alot of his power came from his legs.

Well, he didn't hit anywhere remotely as hard as Anthony Joshua, obviously.

But he rotated his hips into shots, against blown-up middleweights.

You are the first person I've ever seen claiming Thunder was feather fisted. First time for everything.
