These guys knew how to take little punishment; Jones is having his clock cleaned, multiple times.

I can't fathom why he would accept absorbing this punishment weren't for money problems.

I dont buy the notion that he idea that he has money problems.
Hes been the colour commentator for HBO for the past decade.

Hes also picking up easy money for fighting club fighters, as well as being a trainer to fighters

 

Roy Jones is so broke he got money from the Russians to take up Russian citizenship and actually live there. Nobody in their right mind would do that unless they're broke as hell.
