I am just wondering where that rumour came from, I've seen it around, but haven't been able to find a credible site to get the full story. The last time I saw it was from ESNEWS on YouTube (reporting!). It does make a little bit of sense to me, as Mayweather made a ton of money against Ricky Hatton - he probably thinks Ricky's fans will follow his brother, Matthew and make him another ton of money, for a probably easier fight. I'm going to be so pissed off with Mayweather if he doesn't face someone like Pacquiao or Mosley. Perhaps Pacquiao v Mosley would wet our appetites, people?

Totally agree. Ricky even said he would "like another go at that Mayweather" but to hear that Matthew Hatton of all people is linked with Mayweather (no disrespect to Matthew) but he isn't even as good as a past-it Ricky. The money aspect makes sense from Mayweather's point of view (hoping Matthew will take Ricky's huge following), but if he did end up fighting Matthew Hatton, he'd lose the little bit of respect I left have for him.
