what about head to head when tito kept walking in a straight line into jabs and straight rights for over half the fight?

that's as likely as floyd mayweather vs. juan diaz @ 135 or manny pacquiao vs. isreal vasquez @ 122.

both of their welterweight careers are over.

De La Hoya and Trinidad are probably in the lower ends of the top 20. And if not that high, than they are definitely in the top 25. Curry is top 25 as well.

Lots of better welters throughout history than The Odd Couple, Felix and Oscar. Go back one era, and just imagine either one going up against Leonard and Hearns. Ooof-fah! Oscar danced victory away against Trinidad, he would have called a cab to get away from Hearns. Could you imagine Trinidad marching right into Leonard all night? Tito would have been splattered by the Sugarman.

Yeah, but if these two guys were young and entering WW today they would Quickly clean out the division as they did in the nineties against better opponents.

they were great at 147, so were a lot of fighters from different eras. I'll say top 15, Tito never lost a fight at welter (from 92-99) and his KO ratio was great

They are both up there but for bravery and effort I put Tito right with Duran and maybe even Robinson. Uh na Robinson has way more fights. Tito could still do a lot more though and if he could drop back to 147 I dont think anyone could beat him.

Even though hearns and leonard were greater welterweights, i honestly think that tito and oscar competed in a better era of welterweights.

Hmm I put Hearns and Leonard even a tad over Jones so they gotta be better than Hoya or Trinidad but all woulda been great fights against each other I'm sure

Robinson woulda beaten them all though IMHO
