Where do Felix Trinidad and Oscar De La Hoya rank, respectively, all-time at 147?

De La Hoya was tired. Maybe it was in his best interest to play it safe.

    Trinidad is a dangerous puncher.

De La Hoya won that fight IMO, but it wasn't as one-sided as people like to claim. There were close rounds before DLH got tired and played it safe. A lot of DLH's flurries didn't land, but Jim Lampley and the crowd would go nuts. Unfortunately for Tito, his offense was worse.

I can see Trinidad maybe stopping Quartey late, after being given hell with Quartey's jab and being dropped (in round 2) by a straight right hand.

As disgusting as it is having to read this while I just woke up and enjoying my first cup of coffee:lol::tired:tired

where does the rumor come from? I've seen that fight countless times and I don't see anything that would make someone say that. And if it was true, and its just some obsveration someone made who was actually there why would he stick around and give a post fight interview instead of running off covered by a towel? :-(

8-4 DLH, 116-112. Fair do you think ThreadStealer?

Not bad, but I had it closer. Round 1 even. Rounds 2 and 3 for DLH. Round 4 for Tito. Rounds 5 thru 7 for DLH. Round 8 for Tito. Round 9 for DLH. Rounds 10-12 for Tito.

The thing is, most of Tito's rounds were close. DLH had some close rounds, but less so than Trinidad.

Everyone remembers DLH starting to run in round 9, but he still did the better work in that round. He started off nicely with some combos to the body, and finished with a straight right with about 30 seconds left in the round. That was better work than Trinidad did in round 9.

Round 8 was a close round too. Trinidad probably landed the best shot of the round, late in the round, as he caught DLH with a left hook as DLH was pulling back. DLH nodded to him, seeming to acknowledge that it was a pretty good punch.

Oh, hell, there are so many Oscarsexual ***gots out there in de World today, that Jim Lampley and Beware of Dawg have to take turns tongue massaging Oscar's prostate gland on every other day.

Sweetie, you need to learn how to score fights. (Professional Fights) This isnt the amateurs. Slaps dont count for ****. Neither does running like a little *****. Trinidad-DLH reminds me of a Rotweiller from PR chasing an East LA chihuahua.

Trinidad took 9. Those body shots were blocked. The straight right didnt do any damage at all. And it was that shot in the 8th that ruined Oscar's chances of doing what he had to do to win.

I'll bet you two lovebirds have photos of Oscar wearing Fishnets and panties hanging over your bed, on the ceiling, so thats the 1st thing you see in the AM. 116-112 DLH? Wow, thats a laugh. :rofl :rofl :rofl
