Can you not disagree on the verdict of a fight without all the insults? I am far from a big De La Hoya fan, but I scored the fight as I love boxing, and I don't care what you say, I genuinely concur with most of the boxing world that De La Hoya won clearly on points. I'm sorry if that is a source of personal offence to you.

Very True about their resumes. I feel Tito's is just a little better if you take away their fight, because he was there longer, but they are close. I feel Tito deserved the win 7-5, and obviously when rating them against each other what it comes down to is who you felt won the fight. I bought the robbery hype (I'm not really saying your wrong, it was close) before I saw it, but I honestly felt Trinidad won on rounds, even though Oscar looked better in the rounds he won.

It's all opinions, and like I said, I felt Tito, Whitaker, Quartey, and Sturm beat DLH. He lost to Mosley 8-4 on my card, and beat him by a point in the rematch. He also lost clearly to Hopkins and Mayweather.

Winky has always been a division above Trinidad, and fit 160lbs better in my opinion than he did, that's why I say he is bigger. James Toney isn't taller than either man and doesn't really have a longer reach, but is much bigger. Losing, even one-sided fights, to Hopkins, Wright, and Jones two-divisions above his best weight (3 division's in the Jones fight), with the loss to Hopkins being the only one where he was in his prime, isn't all that bad.

Losing, at least in my mind, close decisions to Trinidad, a far past his best Whitaker, Quartey, and the bigger but not too special (solid all-around fighter though) Sturm is just as bad, if not worse. I got Trinidad a good amount higher at welterweight, and just a little bit higher P4P.
