Ive seen so many comments on this page in recent days about how canelo is balooning up to 185 or even more...where on earth are people getting these numbers???

Historically Canello has tended to weigh in the high 160s/low 170s.

Yes, hes a very big 154 and is probably due a move to 160...but this 185+ stuff is just nonsense

    216lbs minimum!:cunaooooo:

We know it's about 172/3 but people like to exaggerate, mainly due to they knowing he de/rehydrates to massive levels.
185 is even pushing it when talking about guys like McClellan in his MW days.

Big guys usually dehydrate 15 pounds, give or take a few. Canelo is likely a bit over the 15 pound mark. I would say he is slightly above 170 and thats quite a lot of weight to put on for a Jr. Mw.
He will likely put on some weight as a MW and even then he wont be close to 185. It´s just unrealistic. (although he is quite muscular)

something around 175 is probably closest, 185 is just ridiculous, Hopkins vs Kovalev was 182 ffs

I think It was The Team Money that hyped him as a natural SMW, a massive weight cutter to make Floyd\Canelo a big fight.

Yeah, that's all that it is, is exaggeration because of past fight day weigh ins. He's typically in the high 60's to low 70's for a fight. People just try to act funny.
