I've got Vlad at #3 and Wlad at #4 behind Joe Louis and Ali...

I feel just inside the top 20 is reasonable, maybe top 15 for Wladimir as he's been on a good long run of wins over respectable opposition. Neither has a real stunning win to propel them into top 10 level.

Don't even know if I'd put them in the top 20, I would have to have a good think about it but I rate heavyweights like Larry Holmes, Tyson, Holyfeild, Lewis, Frazier, Foreman, Ali, Louis above the Klits.

Behind Joe Louis? Haaa. The Klitschko brothers would **** Joe Louis. I like Joe, but he is quite overrated. He could knock out a mule, so long as that mule stood right in front of him. Joe Louis had VERY LITTLE foot movement and NO head movement. Wladimir would pepper him with the jab/right until he put him away. Vitali would just beat his ass. I do agree with you though, that head to head, not many heavyweights in history could deal with the Klitschko's skilled size.

Don't be a **** and try to tell me a series of wins over Sam Peter, Chris Byrd, Calvin Brock, Sultan Ibragimov and Ruslan Chagaev isn't respectable. Is is an ATG resume? No, that's why he's not in the top 5 or 10, but it's solid and there's nobody any better about today. If you look at the careers of most heavyweight champions their general level of competition is about the same, but with a few signature wins thrown in, and as neither Klitschko has a signature win I can't put them above the likes of Holmes/Ali/Marciano, but they're good nethertheless.
