People at times remember him for getting Kayoed by Bob Foster who dwarfed him ridiculously and was 39 years old.

Does Hopkins rank ahead of him based on Longevity even though Tiger has better middleweight names on his resume.?

    Hopkins definitely ranks ahead imo.

I have Hopkins at 5, Tiger at 8/9 ish

Hopkins vs Tiger is an interesting match up actually.

I agree, it's a fight that Hopkins wouldn't be able to rely on his strength. I think he'd win on points but Tiger would present major issues.
Would've been a career defining fight.

Also my opinions on Hopkins are controversial at best so take it with a grain of salt

I have no idea about a number ranking, but I'd put him in the echelon below the Grebs, Monzons, Even Hagler, that level. He'd lose one once in a while but was enough of a handful to be in the conversation with a Hopkins, Lamotta, Ketchel, that kind. Tiger and Robinson would have been fun.

It was said in the 60's by a witty boxing writer that "a good trombone player could beat D ick Tiger".

Anyone who remembers Tiger by that ko by Foster is a noobie casual who deserves no serious attention.

I honestly think he is largely disliked and underrated on this forum!

But it’s all good I always respect your opinion and enjoy your takes. Cheers
