Not for me ,Tiger is top ten comfortably, B Hop might squeeze in my ten at a pinch.

 

I love Dick Tiger. I love the middleweight division as it existed in the '50s and '60s. To have competed and won the title during that era is truly impressive. That said, Hopkins knew (knows) all the answers. He was a consummate boxer, the kind of fighter who could give Tiger fits. Giardello fought a masterful fight in his third bout with Tiger. He turned up in good condition and jabbed and moved his way to a comfortable decision. Even Gene Fullmer copped a draw by sticking and moving (though I thought tiger clearly won). Hopkins was always in shape and he could stick and move all night long.

Tiger was an extremely strong and punishing fighter, but he was not a one-punch kayo artist. Hopkins wouldn't stand around long enough to get nailed repeatedly by Tiger. He would be quick enough and in good enough shape to get away and stay out of corners.

I don't think Tiger could catch up to Hopkins. Bernard by decision.

Tiger was an all time great fighter. Would have like to see future dream match ups, Prime Carlos Monzon vs prime Tiger, or Marvelous Marvin Hagler vs Bernard Hopkins, both in their primes.

He's a top 10 p4per on r/boxing and argued to be the MW goat. I've had mods tell me from there that the only person capable of beating prime Hopkins was a prime RJJ lmao

 

I hope your kidding. Dont really care what the mods say about Hopkins. I followed him from the beginning. For me the Johnson fight was one that really stands out for me. Hes too much of a mugger and mauler who's fairly predictable. His very fundamentally sound and hes actually a kool guy in person but hes not top ten in my book.

Still sets a bad example but I've always had a disdain for him because of it.

I'd probably lean towards Tiger, he'd decide the pace of the fight and I believe he'd outwork Hopkins in a nasty fight inside
