Beats Langford, Blackburn, Walcott and Gans, beats other luminaries like Spike Sullivan and Rufe Turner... OK, he loses to most of these guys at times, also.

How do we... where do we... rank him, on his high points or his low points?

    Thoughts?

opponents big up a lot of aspects of his game, gans said he was a harder fight than nelson.

i'm not really sure about the bad side, i get the feeling he might have lacked either handspeed or accuracy but i could be wrong.

Holly's style was to cover up and close the distance to try to land a short punch. If unsuccessful, he'd clinch and keeping his right hand free (most opponents had difficulty tieing both his arms up in a clinch), hammer the kidneys. Similar style to Young Peter Jackson.

    He often gets sold short.

Perhaps the most underrated lightweight of all time.
