Where do we rank Tua if he beats the Klits

Wrong, The Ring currently ranks Arreola at #10, so it is a valid point.

I so want to see Tua win a title, he deserves it, great fighter, complete gentleman and 1 of the most likeable men in boxing. David Haye is his best shot, Haye is weak on the inside/mid range and can be hurt their, Tua is a murderer at that range

If he does it, well both are top 20 HWs of all time, so a win over either combined with his excellent resume, I think it has to bring him into the top 20 of all time. You'd have to get hella props for a 37y 5'9 man winning a title in the SHW era

Well I think he could do it, he's got good stamina, better power (especially in his left) & a titanium-chin.
What else does he need to out-slug Arreola?

 

It will never happen so im not worried about arguing the point.

 

Don't see him having a chance other then a very very lucky punch against either klitschko.:think

 

How does Tua deserve it? I seem to recall him getting a shot at the title against Lennox Lewis and doing absolutely nothing for 11 rounds 2 mins and 58 seconds before finally jumping in with a left hook when he knew the final bell was about to save him. To this day that is the most boring fight I have ever watched.

Oh, and what gentleman consistently tries to hit opponents on the break or after the bell to get an unfair advantage?

 

Today's Tua wouldn't even lay a glove on Wlad. He is way too slow and short. A guy like Eddie Chambers hardly has the power of Tua, but he sure is the better boxer, yet he couldn't even land on Wlad. It would be Tua vs Lennox all over again. Same for Vitali, who may be a bit more easy to hit, but has an iron chin in case something gets through. Let's not forget that the good old Tuaminator had trouble getting by Ahunanya (6'2) and couldn't hurt him over the entire fight. Povetkin beat him much more decisively.

 

A better question would be where do we rank Briggs if he beats either Klitschko. It seems that Haye who has backed out of two fights with the Klitschko's, and Valuev who has passed on a 2.5 million dollar offer do not want to fight Vitali.

There is a rumor that Briggs will. Odd as it may seem, guys like Briggs, and Tua are still younger than Vitali.

 

Youth and reflexes.

If this fight happens I will absolutely pick Areola.

In fact given what you and others are saying he should probably take this fight to get his career back on track.

Oh, and if Tua fights David Haye he will get butchered.

 

Perhaps down to the fact hes beat 2 linear champs and 4 champs in total. As for hitting on the break, I haven't noticed that many times and it can be a grey area

 

If anyone who is not old and past it beats Vitali they wont get much credit because Vitali is old and past it.
Even if Haye has the balls to face him and actually wins he will have robbed himself of the real credit by waiting this long to fight him.

Obviously if an old has-been like Tua beats Vitali he'll get loads of credit, but even a prime Tua wouldn't beat an old Vitali from what I've seen. Holyfield has more chance against the Klitschkos truthfully.

Wlad's still good for a year or two I guess. And he's eliminated most of the promising young fighters. He'll probably retire after a couple more fights.

 

Well it's a fight that i'd love to see, I can't imagine it being boring at any point, just exciting brawling throughout.
Who knows, maybe Arreola will take a fight with Tua & in knowing that it's his last chance to save his career, train down to the 235lbs he should be at.

 

Top 20 if he beats both maybe. He won't. No chance.
