    Then had 3 fights and was told he would never be allowed to box on HBO again if he didn't take that fight. Jay Z paid Ward the extra 3 million. This is on record, the real split was 50-50.

    I'd say HBO gave them both 2 million and then ward demanded more so jay z had to pay him 3 million out of he's pocket in the hope that the ppv money they got back would cover it. I'd say he lost big

    And I suppose if GGG asked for an extra 150% to take a fight from his promoters back pocket (not that the fight was generating, or agreed split of the revenue), or he wouldn't take the fight and be banished from HBO- you'd be fine with that would you?

    Yeah they lost big alright. I'm sure they believed Ward would win, be showered in adulation, his star would shine brighter and the money would start to roll in. He was a bad investment. If Roc have any sense they will get rid. It's just not gonna happen and Wards verbal cow pats ain't helping.
