Man oh man. Robinson was the greatest of his time and a pioneer for sure, but that technique has been emulated, improved upon and copied by other fighters and it is ridiculous to say he would still win in a head to head against the very very best post 1970 fighters. I think Leonard, Hearns, and Hagler all give him tough fights ... or beat him. I mean, don't you think those guys are better than Basillio and Lamotta? I do. UNLESS HE IS RAISED FACING THE MODERN STYLE - IE - a modern robinsons with all his toughness and speed and athleticism trained to respond to modern boxing practice, which reached its height in the 80s and 90s and now is on the slide since boxing has retreated as a mainstream alternative to most athletic people.

Its like now everybody knows how to steal rounds (Marquez did it pac 1 at times perfectly by saving all his activity for the last thirty seconds) but they learned it from watching guys like Leonard and got even sneakier. Pac is top 10 or top 20, but I have to give him the benefit of the doubt, his opposition has been way better than people make it out to be and riskier than people think. If its so safe, through someone else who was a featherweight in with Cotto, Clottey, and then Margarito and see how many of them come through without a loss. My bet is every other feather LOSES ALL THREE FIGHTS. That is not the definition of a safe fight.

It's quite hard not to put him in the top 10 at this point. I think he's between 6-10, definitely top 15 without a doubt.

What he's doing right now is absolutely crazy. Not to mention his resume is just full of A fighters and future HOFers.

As of now I've got Pac 21-50. Closer to 50 actually. He needs some more good wins to break into the top 20. He's not quite there yet.
